Ambassador Štambuk's Condolence message on passing of great Iranian singer Mohammad-Reza Shajarian

Dr. Drago Štambuk Ambassador of the Republic of Croatia to the Islamic Republic of Iran has issued his condolence message on passing of the greatest Iranian singer

Deeply saddened by the passing of Mohammad-Reza Shajarian, maestro of Persian classical music, I acknowledge His irreplaceable loss for the soulful people of Iran and all those in the world who regarded Him – the Golden Nightingale, and whose songs made their hearts beat faster.

People of Croatia and me, their ambassador to Iran, share Iranian people's grief and express utmost condolences to the Shajarian family and to the sea of dedicated fans and lovers of His heavenly music and unique personality.

This great artist and man who has moved many lives with His angelic voice and has touched the emotional skies will be covered with Iranian white and red roses and sent to unforgettable Eternity.

By very many Shajarian will be ever called – beloved!
